The rainy day weather kept a few fishermen away from the lakes at the Rocky Mountain Recreation and Public Fishing Area this week.
However, Jacob Driver (above) found out you can have good fishing in rainy weather when he caught this 4 pound Bass in Heath Lake. Jacob was fishing from a boat using a live red worm when he reeled in his catch of the day.
Have you been fishing in the rain this week?

The warm weather is a perfect time to go camping at the Rocky Mountain Recreation and Public Fishing Area. In addition, fishing can be fun while you’re camping.
Just ask Bobby Hodges (above) who caught this 7 ½ pound Bass on Friday (May 30, 2014) while camping. Bobby caught the fish in the West Antioch Lake at his campsite while fishing from the bank. He was using a Night Crawler that barely had time to hit the water before the fish struck.
How has your camping trips been lately?
