The warmer temperatures seem to be agreeing with both the fishermen and the fish.
Emily Hughes (above) enjoyed a fun day of fishing Thursday, May 23 (2013), at the Rocky Mountain Recreation and Public Fishing Area. Fishing from a boat in the East Antioch Lake, Emily caught this 3 pound Walleye. She used a grub on a four-pound test line to reel this catch in.

Fishermen are more than ready for the weather to cooperate and the fish to start biting.
Joey “Porkchop” Shropshire (above) is one fisherman that found the weather just right and the fish biting as he had a pretty good day fishing Tuesday morning, May 21 (2013), in the East Antioch Lake of the Rocky Mountain Recreation and Public Fishing Area.
Porkchop caught this 4 pound, 1 ounce Walleye while fishing from a boat for Crappie. He said he was trolling when he caught this beauty on a four-pound test line. He also caught a number of other fish during his outing.
